Free health care screenings will be provided by the Health Department. The objective of this event is to create a cohesive and fun day in an effort to promote open dialog amongst the various cultures in Suitland and its Police COPS officers.

Members of the media are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact the Prince George’s County Police Department’s District III COPS unit at (301) 772-4920 or the Public Affairs Division at (301) 772-4710.
Under normal circumstances, Brooks Drive is a relatively narrow and busy street with schools on one side and residences on the other--in this area. The planners of this event are obviously interested in drawing as large a crowd as possible in order to accomplish their purpose. What disaster will it take for someone to realize that this is dangerous for motorists, pedestrians and residents on Brooks Drive? It is even more amazing, that it is sponsored by the police department! Wouldn't citizens be safer if it were held at Suitland High?
