Wanted for Armed Robbery of Checkers Restaurant in Hyattsville



The Prince George’s County Police Department is working to identify the suspects shown in the above surveillance photographs. On November 17, 2011, at approximately 9:05 p.m., the suspects committed an armed robbery at the Checkers located at 3032 Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville, Maryland. The suspects pulled into the drive through while the passenger exited the van and approached the window. The suspect displayed a handgun and forced the window open while demanding money from the victim. The victim ran from the window as the suspect reached into the store and removed the cash register drawer. Both suspects fled in the van on Gallatin Street towards Washington D.C.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 21 years of age and approximately 5'8" tall. He was last seen wearing a black Northface jacket, a black and white bandanna covering his mouth and nose area, black gloves, and armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect driving the van is described as a black female with a heavy set build wearing a blue jacket. Both suspects were seen fleeing in tan colored minivan, possibly a Chrysler Town and Country model with an unknown Maryland registration.
