Prince George’s County Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the homicide of 44 year-old Elliot LaWayne Harris who was pronounced deceased yesterday as a result of injuries he sustained from a shooting that occurred in October in Temple Hills, Maryland.
On October 6, 2011, at approximately 6:46 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 4300 block of 23rd Parkway for the report of a shooting. Harris, of the 26800 block of Dogwood Lane, Mechanicsville, Maryland, was located inside of a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was admitted in critical but stable condition. Harris remained in the hospital until he succumbed to his injuries on December 2, 2011. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
