Two Teens Charged in Fairmont Heights High School Assaults


The Prince George’s County Police Department has charged two teenaged girls in connection with a fight that occurred this morning at Fairmont Heights High School.  The altercation is believed to have stemmed from a previous dispute about a wig. One girl has been charged with first degree assault after she stabbed the other girl who initiated the incident. The girl, who was charged with first degree assault, has been committed to a juvenile detention center. The girl, who was stabbed, was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical but stable condition and was charged with second degree assault.  A paring knife was recovered at the scene.
