PGPD to Honor Fallen Officers During Law Enforcement Memorial Run


Prince George's County, Maryland...The Prince George's County Police Department will address the participants of the 16th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Run.

Each year, a group of officers and survivors run from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. to honor the fallen officers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.  The run will make several stops along the way to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Prince George's County leg of the run will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn located at 10000 Baltimore Avenue in College Park before stopping at PGPD District I for a memorial service at 10:15 a.m.  After the memorial service, the run will continue to the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.
