Suspect Wanted For Citizen Armed Robbery



The Prince George’s County Police Department‘s District II Robbery Suppression Team is working to identify the suspect on the surveillance photograph. On July 7, 2012 at 1a.m., the victim was walking on Campus Way South at Harry S. Truman Drive when he was approached by the suspect who pointed a black revolver into the victim's back. The suspect ordered the victim to lie on the ground and demanded the victim's cell phone and wallet. The suspect removed the item from the victim's pockets and took his green H&M bag. The suspect then fled on foot across Campus Way South and into the property of Steeplechase Apartments. A K-9 track was conducted with negative results, terminating in Steeplechase Apartments. The suspect pictured above used the victims credit card at the Wawa located at 1401 Hampton Park Blvd. Capitol Heights, MD. shortly after the robbery. The suspect was last seen driving away in the dark colored vehicle pictured above.
