Murder Suspect Arrested

On August 25 at 7:00 p.m., 35-year-old James Howard Braddy, Jr. of the 1000 block of Moreland Street in Fort Washington turned himself in to the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Braddy was charged with first degree murder in the killing of 37-year-old Trevor Alejandro Johnson of the 7900 block of Allard Court in Glen Burnie.

The investigation revealed that on August 12 at 12:29 p.m., Braddy entered the home of his ex-girlfriend in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street in Oxon Hill. While inside the home, Braddy confronted and shot his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend, Trevor Johnson. Braddy then dragged Johnson's body down the steps to a parking lot located near the residence. The investigation found Braddy shot Johnson again multiple times and fled the scene.

Braddy has been remanded to the Department of Corrections on a no bond status.
