Update "Toward Zero Deaths" News Conference


This morning the Prince George’s County Police Department and the Howard County Police Department joined the Maryland Highway Safety Office in announcing traffic safety successes and goals. Prince George’s County is experiencing a 19% reduction in fatal and pedestrian crashes.


At the event, the PGPD pointed to the tangible results of its “Take 30 for Traffic” initiative, “Operation Road Runner”, “Operation Solo”, “Safe Walk”, and DUI enforcement.
