On January 11, 2013, at approximately 6:45 am, police officers were called to a home in the 2200 block of Wyngate Road for the report of a fight.  Once on scene, they found the victim inside suffering from trauma to his body.  Martin was pronounced dead on the scene.  The medical examiner today found the cause of death to be strangulation and the manner of death a homicide.

Prince George's County homicide detectives identified Wynn as a person of interest in this case. Wynn has admitted his involvement in causing the death of Martin.  The two knew each other through family.

Wynn is charged with second degree murder and other charges.  He will be extradited to Prince George's County at a later date.
