The Prince
George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in District
Heights. The victim is identified as 23 year-old Antonio Delonte Ross of
the 1600 block of Tulip Avenue in District Heights.
On January
18, 2013, at 9:20 pm, police officers responded to the 1600 block of Tulip
Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, police officers found Ross suffering from
gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced
dead.
Detectives
believe the suspect(s) fled the scene in a silver Chrysler 300, which has since
been recovered in Washington DC. The car had been set on fire. Detectives do
not believe this was a random crime and preliminarily believe the victim was
targeted. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this
case.

We saw how your little girl was an inspiration to you to fullfill your goals. We dont understand why this happened but we will be here with your mom, grandma, Jasmine and Maliyah . Shawn prayed with and for you as you left us so I know God has you in His care. What man ment for bad God will show some good. Praying for the violence to stop and the crminals be bought to justice.
