PGPD Searches for Critical Missing Person

Updated March 22, 2013:  Mr Winfrey has been found in good health.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a critical missing person identified as 40-year-old William Claude Winfrey, III.  He was last seen on March 21, 2013, at his home in the 13700 block of Virginia Manor Road in Laurel.  Family members are concerned about Winfrey's welfare and have reason to believe he may harm himself.  Winfrey, who suffers from diabetes, may also have access to firearms. 

Winfrey is described as a white male, 5’8” and 250 pounds.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.
