The Prince George’s County Police Department is escalating resources at Saturday’s scheduled Glo Run at the National Harbor. The security enhancements are strictly out of an abundance of caution. There are currently no known threats in connection with the annual event.
Prince George’s County police officers will conduct strict backpack and bag inspections. It’s asked that participants and spectators please leave those items at home if at all possible. Explosive detection K-9s will also be at the event.
The Glo Run takes place this Saturday, April 20, 2013.
