PGPD Investigates Fatal Crash in Temple Hills

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in Temple Hills. The victim is identified as 49-year-old Terrence Daryl Boston of the 12000 block of Lusbys Lane in Brandywine. Boston was a Firefighter/EMT with the District of Columbia Fire Department.


On August 25, 2013, at approximately 10:25 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6400 block of Old Branch Avenue for the report of motorcycle crash. Upon arrival, patrol officers found Boston suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.


Boston was riding a motorcycle southbound on Old Branch Avenue. The preliminary investigation reveals the driver of a car heading northbound on Old Branch Avenue failed to yield to Boston while that driver tried to make a left turn onto Allentown Way. Boston struck the right side of the car. The car’s driver and one passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
