The Prince George’s
County Police Department is continuing to prepare for the 2013 home opener and
would like to provide some helpful tips for fans who will be travelling to
tonight’s game. The NFL has implemented
an enhanced safety policy this year which significantly limits the size and
type of bags that can be brought into the stadium. For more information, we encourage fans to
visit NFL.com for specific guidelines on what
will be allowed inside FedEx Field.
We would also like
to remind both fans and area commuters to allow extra time when travelling to
or around FedEx Field. Starting this
afternoon, our Media Relations Division will post PGPD #GameTime real-time
traffic updates via Twitter. Please follow @PGPDNews & send us what
you're seeing on the roads around FedEx Field. Always remember, never tweet
& drive. Leave the tweeting to your passengers or wait until you're parked
to send the message.
