Members of the Prince
George’s County Police Department will mark Veterans Day by honoring our police
officers currently serving abroad in the United States Armed Forces. The PGPD
currently has seven officers who are deployed in support of operations in
Afghanistan.
On Monday, we’ll pack
care packages for those police officers. The Media Relations Division has been
collecting leftover Halloween candy to be part of the packages. The entire PGPD
wants our officers and their families to know they remain in our thoughts and
prayers.
