PGPD To Deliver Food Baskets to Community Members in Need

The Prince George’s County Police Department and our county law enforcement partners are hoping to bring holiday joy to members of our community who are in need this season.  For nearly 30 years, the Prince George’s County Public Safety Assistance Program has provided thousands of the baskets to members of our community. The program’s goal is to provide Christmas dinner for families in need across the county.

On Monday, Chief Mark Magaw, County Executive Rushern Baker, members of the PGPD command staff and our law enforcement partners will gather at the Bunker Hill Fire Station to pack baskets.  They’ll then join Santa to deliver them to an area senior community.
