PGPD to Hold Community Meeting to Discuss Riverdale Sexual Assault

The Prince George’s County Police Department will meet with members of the Riverdale community to discuss the recent sexual assault of a 95-year-old woman.  PGPD commanders will talk to the community about the active investigation as well as address any questions or concerns.

On February, 21, 2014, at about 9:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6100 block of 63rd Avenue for the report of a sexual assault. When they arrived, they learned the elderly victim had just been sexually assaulted by a man who broke into her home.

Members of the community and media are welcome to attend.  A PGPD commander will be available to speak with members of the media after the end of the meeting.
