PGPD Releases Photo of Bank Robbery Suspect

Updated April 10, 2014: Investigators have linked the suspect in this bank robbery to several armed robberies in our community.  Detectives believe he robbed several stores in the southern region of Prince George’s County, to include:
  • The Maxway in the 4200 block of Branch Avenue on March 28, 2014, at about 9:00 pm
  • The Aldi Foods store in the 6300 block of Livingston Road on April 3, 2014, at about 8:15 pm
  • The 7-11 in the 5500 block of Livingtson Road on April 7, 2014, at about 7:30 am
  • The Radio Shack in the 6100 block of Livingston Road on April 7, 2014, at about 5:45 pm

The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying this suspect.  He is wanted for an armed bank robbery in Upper Marlboro.

On April 8, 2014, at about 10:00 am, the suspect walked into a bank in the 14600 block of Church Street.  He walked up to a teller, displayed a gun and demanded cash.  The frightened teller complied.  The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as an African American man with a medium complexion, in his 40s, about 5’8” and 150-170 pounds. He was wearing a black leather hat, a black jacket, a burgundy shirt and blue jeans. He had some sort of patch over his left eye. The suspect sped away in an older model gray Volvo station wagon.
