On Friday and throughout the weekend, many in our region will head out to celebrate the 4th of July. The PGPD wants to ensure that our roads are safe for holiday travelers. That’s why we’re joining our state and local law enforcement partners in an effort to find and arrest impaired drivers.
Tomorrow, Prince George’s County Police Deputy Chief Hank Stawinski will join those partners to discuss the holiday weekend DUI enforcement effort. The event will also highlight the one-year anniversary of the State Police Impaired Driving Effort (SPIDRE), a statewide DUI patrol team.
