PGPD Investigates Murder in Suitland

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Suitland.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On August 10, 2014, at about 7:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3200 block of Sycamore Lane for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a woman inside of her home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.


Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random shooting.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
