The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Seat Pleasant. The victim is 21-year-old Keaway Lafonz Ivy of 18th Street in Southeast Washington.
On April 1, 2015, at about 10:30 pm, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department responded to the 400 block of Eastern Avenue for the report of a shooting. Once they arrived, they found Ivy in a parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Detectives are working to identify the motive and suspect(s) in this case.
