Help for Domestic Violence Survivors

In the last few days, our department has investigated two cases of domestic-related homicide. In one case, a wife was charged with intentionally striking and killing her husband with an SUV. And just today, we announced the arrest of a man who killed his girlfriend’s baby. In 2013, the Prince George’s County Police Department formed a Domestic Violence Unit which is tasked with investigating cases of domestic violence and more importantly, providing assistance to those who are currently in a dangerous relationship. We created this video to let our community know more about our DVU, how it operates and how it can assist those who need help. Please share this video with your friends, family and social circle.
