The Prince George’s County
Police Department is investigating a homicide in Greenbelt. The victim is
28-year-old Robert Dewayne Brandon Jr. of Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt.
Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up
to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment
in this case.
On February 15, 2016,
shortly after 11:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 8600 block of
Greenbelt Road for the report of a shooting. The victim was found outside
suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene
Detectives are working to
identify a motive and suspect(s) in this case.
