PGPD Investigating Fatal Crash in Upper Marlboro

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Upper Marlboro. The victim is 21-year-old Da’mon Antoine Lee of Jorrick Court in Bowie.
 
On February 25, 2016, at about 3:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 700 block of Church Road in Upper Marlboro for a collision involving one car. When they arrived on scene, the officers found Lee suffering from critical injuries. He died a short time later at a hospital.
 
The preliminary investigation reveals Lee was traveling southbound on Church Road, when for reasons that remain under investigation, his car left the roadway, clipped a telephone pole and ultimately struck a tree.  A passenger in Lee’s car suffered what appear to be minor injuries.
