Detectives Release Photos of Homicide Suspect

Homicide Unit detectives today released images of the man they’re searching for in connection with a fatal shooting at a Camp Springs restaurant. The suspect is 21-year-old Rasheed Edwards. He also goes by the name Thaddeus Cornell Edwards. His last known address is in the 12000 block of Hillantrae Drive in Clinton.
 
 
On May 4, 2016, at about 9:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the 7100 block of Temple Hills Road for a shooting. When they arrived, they learned the victim, Darryl Hairston, had been shot inside of America’s Best Wings. He died several hours later at a hospital. The victim and suspect were both customers. No employees inside of the restaurant were hurt.

 
Through the course of the investigation, Edwards was developed as the suspect.
