Detectives to Canvass Upper Marlboro Neighborhood in Homicide Investigation


This evening, detectives with our Homicide Unit plan to canvass an Upper Marlboro neighborhood where a man was fatally shot on Tuesday. The victim is 22-year-old Andre Stocks of Hunterton Street in Upper Marlboro. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

At about 12:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 12100 block of Hunterton Street for a shooting. When they arrived, officers found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect(s). The canvass is set to begin at 7:00 pm at in the 12100 block of Hunterton Street.
