Detectives Investigate Robbery of WSSC Crew

Detectives are investigating the robbery of a Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission crew in Temple Hills. The four victims were not hurt during the armed robbery early this morning.

The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect approached the crew this morning around 2:45 am. The team was repairing a broken water main in the 4100 block of 24th Avenue. The suspect, who had a gun, stole personal items from the victims and then ran away toward Kenton Place.  


Detectives are actively working to identify the suspect.
