Victim in Wednesday’s Homicide Identified

The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting on Wednesday morning. The victim is 40-year-old Ramiro Moya of Crittenden Street in the unincorporated city of Bladensburg.

On November 30th, at about 6:40 am, patrol officers were called to the 5300 block of Crittenden Street to check on the welfare of a man in the roadway. The officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
