We would like to inform county residents
about a training exercise we are participating in this Wednesday. Law
enforcement agencies across the region are taking part. The exercise is
designed to prepare for the possibility of a terror attack. The exercise will be
staged at six sites including two locations in Prince George’s County.
Residents who live in and drive around Bowie
and Cheltenham will likely see an increased police presence throughout the day
Wednesday as part of the exercise.
This
full-scale exercise is being organized by the Metropolitan Washington Council
