Suspect Makes Bold Attempt to Break Into ATM

First the backhoe was stolen. Then it was driven about five miles to a bank in the 7500 block of Marlboro Pike. That’s where this suspect

used it to boldly try to break into an ATM. This happened on June 1^st around 4:30 am. Despite the suspect’s extreme attempt to get into the ATM, he wasn’t able to get any money. But he did cause about $10,000 worth of damage to the ATM.

March 2016

Detectives believe this same suspect is also behind an ATM theft in March of 2016. In that case, the investigation reveals he and two accomplices broke into a tobacco shop on Marlboro Pike. Once inside, they stole cash and also took the ATM. Anyone with information on either case linked to this suspect is urged to please call 301-390-2160. 

Theft Investigation

The suspect in this photo is wanted for a theft at a restaurant in Riverdale. The business is in the 6000 block of 66^th Avenue. The suspect targeted the restaurant on June 4^th. The investigation reveals he stole money from a back office. Please call 301-699-2601 with any information on his identity.
