The
Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision
in Fort Washington. The victim is 36-year-old Jominque Burgess of Kenstan Drive
in Temple Hills.
On June 11th,
around 2:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the intersection of Allentown
Road and Webster Lane for a crash involving one car. Burgess was taken to the
hospital. He was pronounced dead on July 1st.
The preliminary
investigation reveals the car was traveling westbound on Allentown Road, when,
for reasons which remain under investigation, it exited the roadway and struck
a light pole.
