Detectives with our Homicide Unit
are conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting in Temple Hills. The
victim is 20-year-old Ibrahim Kamara of Hannah Way in Upper Marlboro. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a
random shooting. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for
information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On September 27th, at about 12:40 am, patrol officers were called to the 4000 block of Rocky Mount Drive for a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside with a gunshot wound to his body. He died at the scene.
Detectives are working to
establish a motive and identify suspect(s).
