PGPD Seeks Information in Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run

The Prince George's County Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit would like to talk to anyone who witnessed or has information in a pedestrian hit-and-run in Suitland last night. The victim is 29-year-old Perrier Clayton of Ewing Avenue in Suitland. The truck that hit the victim is described as a gold-colored, pickup truck.

On August 31, 2017, at about 8:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4500 block of Suitland Road for a pedestrian collision. When they arrived, they found a man in the roadway with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals the striking truck was heading westbound on Suitland Road when it struck the victim. The victim was standing in the roadway. The driver did not remain at the scene.
