Victim in November Collision in District Heights Dies of Injuries

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a collision in District Heights. The victim is 43-year-old Kevin Lamar Williams of Edfeldt Drive in District Heights. The collision occurred in November. Mr. Williams passed away on January 2^nd, 2018.  

On November 11, 2017, at about 7:15 pm, patrol officers were called to Ritchie Road near Jordan Park Boulevard for the report of a collision involving two cars.

The preliminary investigation reveals Williams was traveling southbound on Ritchie Road when he attempted to pass another vehicle. While making that attempt, he collided with a car that was heading northbound on Ritchie Road.The driver and two passengers in the second car also suffered injuries.
