Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a
homicide in the town of Fairmount Heights. The victim is 23-year-old Zoe Spears
of Eastern Avenue in Northeast Washington, DC.
On June 13th, at approximately 11:55 pm, officers with the
Fairmount Heights Police Department responded to the 600 block of 59th
Avenue for the report of an unresponsive female on a sidewalk. She was
suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are actively working to establish a motive and identify
suspect(s).
The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides in
the town of Fairmount Heights.
