Homicide
Unit detectives identified and arrested a Fort Washington man in connection
with the double fatal shooting Tuesday evening in Oxon Hill. He is
42-year-old Aaron Lanier Wilson, Jr., of the 10000 block of Indian Head
Highway. He’s accused of fatally shooting 46-year-old Beaudouin Tchakounte of
Frederick and 32-year-old Casey Xavier Robinson of Accokeek. Tchakounte was
operating as an Uber driver at the time of the shooting. Robinson was a
passenger in his car.
On August 27th,
at approximately 9:45 pm, patrol officers responded to the area of Indian Head
Highway and Bald Eagle Road for the report of a shooting. Officers located both
victims inside of Tchakounte’s car that was stopped in the roadway. The victims
were suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary
investigation reveals Tchakounte picked up Robinson and later picked up Wilson
as part of a ride-share option offered through Uber. They were picked up
at separate locations. Through various investigative techniques, detectives
quickly identified Wilson as the suspect. He was arrested at his home early
this morning. He confessed to being picked up and being inside the
vehicle. He also told detectives that he was high on PCP. At this point
in the investigation, there are no known connections between the victims and
Wilson. Wilson is charged with first and second degree murder.

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios
identificaron y arrestaron a un hombre de Fort Washington en conexión a un
doble asesinato el martes en Oxon Hill. Éste fue identificado como Aaron Lanier
Wilson Jr., de la cuadra 10000 de Indian Head Highway. Se le acusa de haber
matado a tiros a Beaudoin Tchakounte, de 46 años de edad y vecino de Frederick,
y a Casey Xavier Robinson, de 32 años de edad y vecino de Accokeek. Tchakounte
era quien fungía de conductor de Uber al momento del tiroteo mientras que
Robinson era pasajero en su vehículo.
El 27 de agosto a eso de las 9:45 pm,
oficiales de patrulla acudieron al área de Indian Head Highway y Bald Eagle Road
ante un reporte de tiroteo. Al llegar, los oficiales hallaron a ambas víctimas
dentro del vehículo de Tchakounte, el cual se encontraba detenido a orillas de
la carretera. Ambas víctimas presentaban múltiples heridas de bala y fueron
declarados muertos en la escena.
La investigación preliminar reveló
que Tchakounte recogió primero a Robinson y luego a Wilson como parte de una
opción de servicio compartido que ofrece Uber. Los pasajeros fueron recogidos en
ubicaciones distintas. Mediante técnicas investigativas, los detectives rápidamente
lograron identificar a Wilson como el sospechoso. Éste fue arrestado en su casa
temprano en la mañana de ayer y confesó haber sido recogido por Tchakounte y
que estuvo dentro del vehículo. También alegó haberse encontrado bajo los
efectos de la droga Fenciclinina o “PCP,” según sus siglas en inglés. En estos
momentos de la investigación no encontraron que hubiese relación alguna entre
las víctimas y el sospechoso Wilson. A éste se le imputan cargos por asesinato
en primer y segundo grado.
