PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Largo

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Largo that took place on December 16^th. The victim is 23-year-old Lorenzo Slaughter of Northeast, Washington D.C. He died from his injuries on December 17^th.

On December 16th, at approximately 8:00 pm, patrol officers were called to Harry S. Truman Drive at New Orchard Drive for a single-vehicle collision.

The preliminary investigation reveals Slaughter was a passenger in a SUV traveling southbound on Harry S. Truman Drive. For reasons which remain under investigation, the driver lost control of the SUV which ultimately struck a tree. Slaughter was critically injured and was transported to the hospital. The driver suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Choque en Largo

La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Choques investiga un mortal choque ocurrido el 16 de diciembre. La víctima fue identificada como Lorenzo Slaughter, de 23 años de edad y vecino del área de Northeast Washington DC. Éste murió de sus heridas el 17 de diciembre.

El 16 de diciembre, a eso de las 8:00 pm, oficiales de patrulla acudieron a Harry S. Truman Drive en New Orchard Drive tras recibir información sobre un choque de un solo vehículo.
