Detectives Investigate Double Fatal Shooting

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a shooting that left two men dead on Saturday in the Landover area. The victims are 24-year-old Pearris Clark of Rockville and 26-year-old Eugene Deondre Jones of Oxon Hill. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On April 18^th, at approximately 11:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 7500 block of Courtney Place for a shooting. They discovered four victims outside in a parking lot. Each victim was suffering from gunshot wounds. Clark and Jones were pronounced dead on the scene. The other two victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Detectives are working to establish a suspect(s) and motive.

PGPD Investigan Doble Asesinato a Tiros

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios investigan un tiroteo que dejó dos muertos el sábado en el área de Landover. Las víctimas fueron identificadas como Pearris Clark, de 26 años de edad y vecino de Rockville, y Eugene Deondre Jones, de 26 años de edad y vecino de Oxon Hill. De manera preliminar, los detectives entienden que no se trata de un crimen al azar.

El 18 de abril, a eso de las 11:30 de la noche, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 7500 de Courtney Place tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Al llegar, los oficiales hallaron a cuatro víctimas afuera, en un estacionamiento. Cada víctima tenía heridas de bala. A Clark y a Jones les declararon muertos en la escena. Las otras dos víctimas fueron trasladadas al hospital para recibir asistencia médica.

Los detectives se encuentran investigando para establecer el motivo del asesinato e identificar posibles sospechosos.
