PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Town of Fairmount Heights

Prince George’s County Police detectives are actively investigating a fatal shooting which occurred on Friday in the town of Fairmount Heights. The victim is identified as 32-year-old Elijah Jackson of no fixed address. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On May 29, 2020, at approximately 3:40 pm, patrol officers responded to the 5300 block of Sheriff Road for the report of a shooting. The victim was located outside in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this fatal shooting. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Tiroteo en Fairmount Heights

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios de la Policía del Condado de Prince George investigan un mortal tiroteo que tomó lugar el viernes en Fairmount Heights. La víctima fue identificada como Elijah Jackson, de 32 años de edad y sin domicilio fijo. Preliminarmente, los detectives entienden que no fue un crimen al azar.
