Detectives with our Homicide Unit
are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Langley
Park on Monday. The victim is 18-year-old
Cristopher Sanchez of Langley Park.
On May 17, 2021, at approximately
5:30 pm, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 8000 block of New
Hampshire Avenue. Sanchez was located outside suffering from multiple gunshot
wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to
determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.

Bajo Investigación Mortal Tiroteo en Langley Park
Detectives de nuestra Unidad de Homicidios investigan un mortal tiroteo que se suscitó cerca de Langley Park. La víctima fue identificada como Cristopher Sánchez, de 18 años de edad y vecino de Langley Park.
El 17 de mayo de 2021, a eso de las 5:30 pm, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 8000 de New Hampshire Avenue tras recibir información de un tiroteo. Estos hallaron a Sánchez en las afueras del área con múltiples heridas de bala. A este le declararon muerto en la escena.
