Detectives with the Homicide Unit are working to arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man Tuesday afternoon in Suitland. The victim is 23-year-old Branden Sellers of District Heights.
On October 12, 2021, at approximately 1:05 pm, patrol officers responded to the 3900 block of Southern Avenue for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located the victim unresponsive in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s) in the case.

Detectives Investigan Homicidio en Suitland
Detectives de nuestra Unidad de Homicidios buscan arrestar al sospechoso(s) quien mató a tiros a un individuo el martes en la tarde, en el área de Suitland. La víctima fue identificada como Brendan Sellers, de 23 años y vecino de District Heights.
El 12 de octubre de 2021, a eso de las 1:05 pm, oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 3900 de Southern Avenue tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Al llegar a la escena, estos hallaron a la víctima inconsciente y con una herida de bala, dentro de un vehículo. A este le declararon muerto en la escena.
