Detectives with our Homicide Unit are conducting an investigation into the fatal shooting of 21 year-old Jonathan Jamison Jr., of Laurel. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will never have to give their name.
On February 19, 2022, at approximately 10:25 pm,
patrol officers were called to the 6900 block of Forest Terrace for a report of
a vehicle that crashed into a house. Once on scene, they discovered
Jamison in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the
upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives
are looking to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
