The Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man Friday evening. The victim is 28-year-old Jose Arroyo Salazar of Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On November 11, 2022, at approximately 10:00 pm, officers responded to the 1500 block of Madison Street for a report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located Arroyo Salazar outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are working to identify the suspect(s) and determine a motive.
