The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night. The decedent is 44-year-old Kevin Jason Paul of Silver Spring. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On October 19, 2023, at approximately 10:05 pm, officers responded to the 3400 block of 52nd Avenue in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville. The officers located an adult male in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigators are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
