The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances of a fatal shooting in Oxon Hill. The victim is 45-year-old Darnell Stanley of Temple Hills. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On November 24, 2023, at approximately 5:10 pm, officers responded to the 600 block of Audrey Lane for a shooting. Officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
