The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville. The deceased driver is 29-year-old Eloy Ramirez of Hyattsville.
On March 3, 2024, at
approximately 7:30 pm, officers responded to the 6500 block of Landover Road
for a single-vehicle collision. Once on
scene, they located the victim unresponsive. He was pronounced deceased a short time later on the scene.
The preliminary investigation
revealed Ramirez was traveling northbound on Landover Road, when
for reasons under investigation, he lost control and ultimately struck a
tree.
