The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian that occurred in the unincorporated section of Bowie. The name of the deceased pedestrian, an adult male, will be released when his family is located and notified.

On June 3, 2024, at approximately 9:10 pm, officers responded to the area of Enterprise Road and Chantilly Lane for a collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed an involved driver was traveling westbound on Enterprise Road when he struck the pedestrian in the roadway. A second driver also then struck the victim. Both drivers stayed on the scene and were uninjured.

La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Colisiones está investigando una colisión fatal que involucró a un peatón y que ocurrió en la sección no incorporada de Bowie. El nombre del peatón fallecido, un hombre adulto, se dará a conocer cuando se localice y notifique a su familia.

El 3 de junio de 2024, aproximadamente a las 9:10 p.m., los oficiales respondieron al área de Enterprise Road y Chantilly Lane por una colisión que involucró a un peatón. El peatón fue declarado fallecido en el lugar.

La investigación preliminar reveló que un conductor involucrado viajaba en dirección oeste por Enterprise Road cuando atropelló al peatón en la carretera. Posteriormente, un segundo conductor también atropelló a la víctima. Ambos conductores permanecieron en el lugar y resultaron ilesos.
