The Prince
George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a suspect in
connection with a fatal shooting in Temple Hills in early July. The suspect is
23-year-old Damonte Isaiah Harris of no fixed address. He’s charged with the
murder of 30-year-old James Page of Washington, DC.On July 2, 2024, at approximately 2:40 am, officers responded to the 6800 block of Old Branch Avenue for a shooting. Officers located the victim inside of a home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect shot the victim over an ongoing dispute. They were known to each other.

Harris is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.

La Unidad
