PGPD Investigating Fatal Stabbing

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday afternoon. The victim is 41-year-old Christopher Woodland of Washington, DC.

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 2:00 pm, officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 5600 block of Silver Hill Road in the unincorporated section of District Heights. Officers located the victim in a parking lot suffering from a stab wound. Woodland was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive.

La Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de Policía del Condado Prince George’s está investigando un apuñalamiento fatal ocurrido el sábado por la tarde. La víctima es Christopher Woodland, de 41 años, de Washington, DC.
