PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Suitland

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday in Suitland. The victim is 30-year-old Brian Speaks of Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.  

On November 15, 2024, at approximately 5:45 pm, officers responded to the 3500 block of Parkway Terrace Drive for the report of a shooting. Officers located the victim inside of an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Tiroteo Fatal en Suitland

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios están investigando un tiroteo fatal que ocurrió el viernes en Suitland. La víctima es Brian Speaks, de Suitland, de 30 años. Se ofrece una recompensa de hasta 25,000 dólares por información que conduzca a un arresto y acusación en este caso. De manera preliminar, los detectives no creen que se haya tratado de un crimen aleatorio.  

El 15 de noviembre de 2024, aproximadamente a las 5:45 p.m., oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 3500 de Parkway Terrace Drive tras recibir un informe de un tiroteo. Los oficiales localizaron a la víctima dentro de un edificio de apartamentos con heridas de bala. Fue declarado muerto en el lugar.
